TyC Sports extends its SQUID system

The leading sports channel in Argentina, TyC Sports, extended its SQUID Air system covering, in this way, the digital broadcasting and log file areas. During this stage, the equipment used during the Olympics Beijing 2008 was incorporated to the existing system and the projects were completed with new MediaManager positions, extension of Storage units, and new ingest systems.

The standards of DVCPRO and P2 Panasonic technology, both in SD and HD, were transparently incorporated. In this way, SQUID offers those users who have chosen this platform direct ingest devices from P2 readers, massive file storage, and native format broadcasting.
