Player Module:
Player controls the reproduction channels of the Engine video server on a remote basis through the network. It provides a secure and dynamic operation in which it is possible to modify on real time the playlists even when they are being broadcasted.
Users’ Control: It controls the access to different modules, creation/visualization of categories; and creation/deletion of guidelines pursuant to the licenses granted by the system manager.
Customized Interface: As the ones of the other modules, it allows operator the selection of a group of clips usually used by associating them to their users’ profile.
Playlist Multiformat: It allows the reproduction of clip’s sequences in different formats (DV25, QuickTime, MPEG2 IBP, MPEG2 I Frame, and Uncompressed).
Graphic caption: It provides controls for the management of the preset graphics, addition of new graphics and modification of the variable texts’ values (such as temperature, humidity, etc.).
Clips’ modification even while being reproduced: The playlist may be modified even on reproduction time on an easier manner allowing a reliable and fluent process.
Control and Monitoring up to 8 Channels per Interface: An operator may control or monitor up to eight channel per interface divided in two groups of four channels. The monitoring or supervision mode allows the control on real time through the net of all the operator’s actions.
Seek Function: It allows the commencement of a reproduction of a clip in the playlist from any point. For example, it allows the continuation of a film from any point in the event its transmission has been interrupted.
Panic Keys: Keys from F1 to F8 allow the fast putting on air up to 8 preset playlists. Such keys are used to solve problems such as the absence of satellite signals, etc.
GPI/GPO: By using the input GPI pulse, the reproduction of playlists may be applied. Consequently, the system provides a GPO stating that the reproduction is finished to transmit external events.
